My fiancé and I first saw Eddie’s beautiful work online. Prior to that moment we had searched many furniture stores throughout the Chicagoland area, unable to find desks that would complete our office space.

I happen to come across Urban Industrial Works plug stool in a desperate search to find an all metal stool to match a 100 year old lithographer’s table. The stool seemed too perfect to be true! It looked old school and industrial but would also look great with my modern pieces. I contacted Eddie and placed the order with a couple of options, (casters and wing nuts). The stool is just a beautiful work of art and steel, and worth the production wait. I actually like it so much I hope to order two more and re-purpose them as end tables. (Just don’t tell Eddie). It was also a pleasure talking to Eddie, a down to earth soul doing what he loves. I would love to own one of everything he makes!
